Bantiger Jersey
Warm, soft, weatherproof – naturally ideal for little explorers!
Lovingly handcrafted
In a small, cosy workshop in Switzerland, unique children's trousers are made from boiled wool with a lot of love and care. Behind these special garments is Isabel Lehmann – a dedicated woman who has made it her mission to create sustainable, high-quality fashion for little ones. Her passion for handicrafts and her deep awareness of environmental friendliness inspired her to make children's clothing from natural materials.
Isabel's enthusiasm for traditional craftsmanship and her love of nature are reflected in every single piece. She carefully selects her materials and processes them with the utmost precision to create durable, comfortable and stylish clothing. Each pair of trousers is handmade – a truly unique item created with great dedication.
The raw material – boiled wool
Fulled wool is usually made from virgin wool from sheep. After shearing, the wool is washed and processed into yarn. Before the material is felted, it is first processed into a loose wool fabric or knit. The actual fulling process involves a combination of moisture, heat, friction and pressure. This is what happens:
- The wool fabric is moved around in warm water.
- Mechanical processing causes the tiny wool fibres to become entangled with each other.
- This compacts the material, making it durable and giving it its typical slightly rough yet soft surface.
This process makes the fabric particularly resistant, breathable and temperature-regulating. Children benefit enormously from these properties:
- Thermoregulating: boiled wool keeps legs warm in winter and ensures a comfortable climate in summer.
- Breathable: the material prevents overheating and ensures that children always feel comfortable.
- Water and dirt repellent: the natural lanolin layer of the wool makes the trousers resistant to moisture and dirt.
- Freedom of movement: Freedom of movement: The fabric is flexible and soft, allowing children to move and play freely.

Sustainability and environmental awareness
These boiled wool trousers are not only practical and beautiful, but also sustainable. Isabel Lehmann only uses fabrics from environmentally friendly production processes that do not use chemical additives for her products. The advantages at a glance:
- Durability: boiled wool is extremely robust and lasts for many years – the trousers can often be passed on to younger siblings.
- Resource-saving: the production of boiled wool consumes less water and energy than synthetic fabrics.
- Biodegradable: wool is a natural material that decomposes in the environment and leaves no waste behind.
- Fair and local production: The trousers are handmade in Switzerland, which guarantees fair working conditions and short transport routes.
Colours and individuality
Every family has different preferences – that's why boiled wool trousers are available in different colours. The soft, natural tones fit perfectly with the sustainable concept and can be combined wonderfully. The result is clothing that is not only functional but also aesthetically appealing.
